Ember ("we", "our", or "us") is a gamified task management mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, your email address, and authentication data (password hash or third-party login tokens from Google or Apple).
Usage Data: When you use Ember, we collect tasks you create (name, category, difficulty, dates), task completion data and timestamps, daily scores, streaks, and combo statistics, badges earned, and app settings and preferences.
Device Information: We may collect device type and operating system, app version, and general usage analytics.
We use your information to provide and maintain the Ember app, track your tasks, scores, streaks, and badges, sync your data across devices, send you notifications if you opt in, improve the app experience, and process subscriptions and payments.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except service providers (Supabase for data storage, Google and Apple for authentication and payment processing) and when required by law.
You have the right to access your data at any time, update your profile in Settings, delete your account by contacting us at [email protected], export your data by contacting us, and opt out of notifications through Settings.
Ember is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Ember Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store your payment information.
